icomedias 2013 awarded as Microsoft Partner of the Year

This year icomedias was excited to receive a special award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), Microsoft’s largest industry conference for industrial partners: the company with headquarters in Graz and a branch office in Berlin was selected to be Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Austria. The award, which was handed over by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, recognizes the outstanding efforts in the field of development and implementation of tailor-made customer solutions based on Microsoft technologies.

Great success for the Styrian IT consulting company on the occasion of the worldwide Microsoft Partner Conference in Houston, Texas. icomedias was selected from approximately 5,000 Austrian partners as Microsoft Partner of the Year 2013 in Austria. The award was handed over by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer in the context of the WPC.

FlowTimer, the first Austrian Windows 8 App in the Microsoft store, a solution for quick and easy time tracking, is an product of icomedias. The company also plays a leading role in the social enterprise sector and advises customers on the introduction of social collaboration with SharePoint 2013 and other Microsoft technologies. All this makes icomedias a key evangelist for Microsoft technology in the Austrian market.

The awards for the best Microsoft partners worldwide were presented in different categories and the ceremony took place in the context of the Worldwide Partner Conference from 7 to 11 July 2013, in Houston, Texas. The winners were determined from 106 different countries. Thereby icomedias was highlighted as one of about 5,000 local Microsoft partners this year.
