Release Notes: HybridForms 10.7 (April 2026)
Version 10.7 brings powerful new capabilities to HybridForms – advancing geodata integration, streamlining form management, and delivering key platform-level improvements. The centerpiece is the new GeoData+ module: a dynamic map integration built directly into the form, designed for demanding use cases in Critical Infrastructure and the public sector.
Highlights in Version 10.7
- GeoData+ Map Server Integration: New module for direct, bidirectional connectivity to professional GIS/GDI servers – directly within the form
- Listpage Admin Read: Extended admin capabilities for form management directly in the client app
- Optimized Timeout Handling in ReachOut: More resilient behavior under unstable network conditions in self-service scenarios
- Backend Update: Migration to .NET 10 – the technical foundation for long-term stability and performance
New Module: GeoData+ Map Server Integration
The new GeoData+ module establishes a direct, unmediated connection to professional GIS and GDI servers – including ESRI/ArcGIS, GeoServer, and others. Geodata can be seamlessly embedded in digital forms, displayed in real time, and edited directly within the form.
Integration is based on the OGC standards WMS and WFS, supporting both raster and vector layers – points, lines, and polygons. GIS objects can be retrieved, updated, and written back directly to the GIS server. The connection between the form and the GIS system is fully dynamic and bidirectional. For PDF export and offline operation, a static map snapshot is captured automatically.
GeoData+ is available as a paid add-on module.
Use case: For organizations and Critical Infrastructure operators that capture, analyze, or document geodata within form-based workflows – particularly for inspection, maintenance, situational awareness, and incident documentation.

Listpage Admin Read: Extended Form Management Directly in the App
The ExtendedRead functionality introduced in earlier versions has been expanded with an additional admin capability. Template Admins can now change the status and owner of a form directly in the client app – without having to switch to the admin app.
- Status and owner changes can be made directly on the form
- Useful, for example, when a team member is absent: forms can easily be reassigned back to the group
Use case: For administrators and GroupAdmin users who need to flexibly manage forms in active operations and quickly adjust ownership or status.
Optimized Timeout Handling in ReachOut
The HybridForms ReachOut Server is the foundation for self-service scenarios, where end users fill out forms independently – without any app installation required. Starting with Version 10.7, HybridForms handles unstable network connections more robustly in these scenarios: if the connection drops during submission, an improved timeout mechanism kicks in. This reliably prevents data loss and incorrect transmission status.
Use case: For all organizations running ReachOut-based self-service forms – particularly in healthcare (patient intake, registration forms), the public sector (online reports, citizen portals), and customer service (service portals, damage claims).
Backend Update: Migration to .NET 10
In the background, the backend has been migrated from .NET 8 to .NET 10. This update establishes the technical foundation for long-term platform stability, security, and performance – keeping HybridForms aligned with the current Microsoft technology roadmap.
Use case: Relevant for administrators and IT managers – the update is applied server-side and requires no action from end users.
Changelog Version 10.7: All Changes at a Glance
In addition to the highlights presented here, Version 10.7 includes a range of further improvements, bug fixes, and technical adjustments. The full changelog documents every change in detail – from minor UI corrections to specific bug fixes – and is aimed primarily at administrators and developers who need a complete overview of all modifications.
Use case: For administrators and technical leads who want to review all changes in a new version in full detail.
