You can take as many photos as you like for an operation, these are automatically displayed in the corresponding form and correctly sorted with a time stamp. You simply mark important details on a picture with the advanced sketch function or add short notes. Secure synchronization with the central server makes all information available to the entire team. Legally compliant photo documentation for descriptive reports & comprehensive protocols
There is hardly any use case in which photos, images and sketches do not play an important role in digital data acquisition and documentation. With its integrated photo function, the HybridForms App makes the work of teams on site much easier. There are three ways to take pictures for a process: With the internal camera of the smartphone or tablet used, via image upload from a directory or via the scanner function for written documents including OCR.
All images are automatically added to the corresponding form in the App and sorted in chronological order – with brief info on the date and time they were taken. Photos and images can also be displayed in individual sections directly on a form page. This ensures that no shot is lost or incorrectly assigned. Another advantage: You save time, because no subsequent post-processing is necessary.
And you have optimal data security: The photos you take with the App are temporarily stored directly in the context of the user and the HybridForms App on the mobile device – and exclusively and securely synchronized only with the HybridForms Server. There is no automatic upload to an iCloud or Google.
When you select an image, additional metadata and detailed information is displayed, such as file name, date and time, image size, location. Thus it is always documented when and where a photo was taken. Additional explanations and notes are possible in a comment field. You can also optionally define whether an image should be included in the later PDF export of the completed form.
The advanced sketch function is another helpful tool for the clear visualization of facts: Arrows, lines, shapes and freehand drawing pen in different colors and line widths (also pressure sensitive), insertion of texts in different sizes and colors, eraser for selective deletion, zoom, crop and rotate the image – markings, drawings or annotations directly on the photos can be added quickly and easily already during your appointment. The original image remains unchanged, the system saves all annotations in a copy and displays it separately.
Of course, the HybridForms photo function also works in offline mode, i.e. uninterrupted work is thus guaranteed anytime and anywhere. The images and data are automatically and securely synchronized with the central server as soon as network access is available again.
Scan printed documents directly in the mobile HybridForms App
- On iOS devices, you can also scan printed documents (instructions, contracts, etc.) directly in the App using the »Scanner« function.
- The document scanner automatically detects the paper edges of the document, corrects the perspective and optimizes colors as well as contrasts.
- Use the advanced sketch function to add comments, notes, drawings or shapes. The original scan remains unchanged.
- In the overview you will then see the original and the annotated scan as thumbnails – with the date and time of creation or editing.
