Release Notes: HybridForms Client App Version 8.4 (February 2021)

With the release of the new HybridForms Version 8.4, further new features and improvements are available. The current version of the mobile client app for Android, iOS and Windows can be downloaded for free as a demo version from the App Stores. The progressive Web App is delivered directly from the HybridForms Server.

When logging out your user, you now have the option to keep or delete your settings (such as language, zoom/display or available form types) until the next time you log in to the device. All your temporary form data and media will still be completely deleted from the device – for optimal security and highest data protection.

The advantage of this graduated logout function: If you have activated »Preserve my data« when logging out, your general settings will be available again when logging in on this device again. This is especially helpful when you share devices with other users and saves time when logging in again. If logging in again with another user, this data will be deleted in any case.

You can now update the translations for the different language versions of your forms using a single template/Excel file (instead of using multiple templates previously).

The advantage of this feature is that the management of multilingual forms is now easier and clearer.

In the pipeline: On the subject of translations, the connection to translation workflow systems is planned for one of the next updates of HybridForms. This will make it possible, for example, to link translation management systems such as Localise.biz directly.
