Our policy: Data minimization for more privacy

Our customers often process sensitive data in their business processes. Within the scope of project collaboration and support, we at icomedias | HybridForms only come into contact with such data in justified and individual exceptional cases – and this is also clearly regulated by law in each case.

For some time now, we have been taking a significant and, for us, general step further: apart from the necessary data for project handling and communication, we collect and store little to no data.

Minimizing data – on principle

Data minimization is an important aspect of data protection: data relating to individuals should only be collected and processed as far as necessary for a specific purpose and only kept for as long as it is needed for that purpose. This serves not only to protect privacy, but also the security of data processing. Subject to legal requirements and legitimate interest, this applies to us not only for personal data.

Specifically, we do not collect data in the following areas:

  • No use of Google Analytics or other Google services
  • Complete renunciation of tracking web analysis
  • No integration of social media services
  • No collection and storage of detailed IP addresses
  • Complete renunciation of cookies and other tracking IDs
  • No external telemetry whatsoever in HybridForms App and Server

We see our data minimization not only as a legal requirement, but also as a clear competitive advantage for reliability and security – and a win-win situation in partnership with our customers. In our development of software and services, data minimization is also a principle.

Data that is not stored cannot be lost. And long data privacy statements become much shorter.
